Journalist, TV presenter and news anchor for the BBC, Babita Sharma was raised in a corner shop in Reading, and over the counter watched a changing world, from the clientele to the products to the politics of the day. From the general stores of the early 20th century to the shops run by immigrants from India, East Africa and Eastern Europe from the 60s to the noughties, The Corner Shop tells the remarkable human story of these little institutions that have changed the way we shop, the way we eat, and the way we understand ourselves.

This accessible toilet is approximately 26m (28yd 1ft) from the main entrance. This accessible toilet is located to the rear right as you enter.

Parking
Please note that there is on-street surrounding The Mitchell Library, from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday this is metered. As this is also a local residential area, please use these spaces considerately. Alternatively, there is an a NCP Car Park on India Street next to Charing Cross Train Station which is a 2 minute walk away.
Photography and video recording
On occasion, Glasgow Life will be on the premises to film and take photos.
