The acclaimed French children’s book Chien Pourri has been translated in Gaelic by Gillebrìde MacMillan and in this session he will read from the story. Will good overcome evil – all through the eyes of the loveable Cù Giobach?

Gillebride MacMillan is a highly acclaimed Gaelic writer, translator and singer. He has translated a number of books including Paddington, The Little Prince and the Captain Bobo stories. From South Uist, Gillebrìde now works at The University of Glasgow where he teaches on a range of topics including Gaelic language, literature and culture.
