Straddling genres and shining bright, Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5 bring their patented blend of alternative/comedy/dance/rock music to the Old Fruitmarket. Led by John McAlinden (AKA Colonel John Thomas McMustard), this band of eleven (not five) is hard to miss. Decked out in yellow and dominating the stage, their goal is to spread joy and happiness with uplifting numbers pulled from a melting pot of musical influences. “The natural environment or these catchy tunes is a packed, sweaty gig.” (The Scotsman)

Support comes from The Laurettes, an up-and-coming all-female band making a big noise up and down the country. Founded by dynamic duo Lauren O’Donoghue and Lynette Beaton, The Laurettes have been described as a “powerful indie folk fusion band with a Celtic rock twist.” These sought-after performers now have a growing reputation for their positive vibes, boundless energy, and uncanny ability to get the full crowd involved in their performances.
