Join host Scott Aukerman, along with Paul F. Tompkins & The Comedy Bang! Bang! All-Stars, as they perform a totally improvised version of the award-winning podcast!
Comedy Bang! Bang! is a weekly comedy audio podcast. It is hosted by writer and comedian Scott Aukerman. Many notable people in the world of comedy, music, television and film have appeared on the podcast, including Weird Al Yankovic, Jon Hamm, Bob Odenkirk, Tatiana Maslany and more. The show’s open-door policy leads to an assortment of eccentric oddballs and characters who pop by at any moment to chat, compete in games, and engage in comic revelry.
The podcast has led to multiple spin-off podcasts, a New York Times best-selling book, and a beloved television series on IFC.
Scott Aukerman is the co-creator and director of the Emmy-winning Funny or Die web series Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis, which received worldwide attention for its instalment featuring President Barack Obama. Aukerman began his career as a writer and performer on the HBO cult classic Mr. Show with Bob and David, for which he garnered an Emmy nomination.
Paul F. Tompkins is a comedian, actor, host and writer, known for his work on television programs such as Mr Show with Bob & David and voicing the role of Mr. Peanutbutter on the Netflix animated series BoJack Horseman. He is also known for his extensive work in podcasting and appeared in Paul Thomas Anderson’s epic drama There Will Be Blood.
Paul’s past visits to the UK gained rave reviews from critics with The Independent calling him ‘Sparkling and sophisticated’ and The Guardian saying he is ‘A true pro trading in classic comedy, with a light touch and a bountiful sense of fun’.
