Shortall’s sound is a high-octane collision of his Royal Conservatoire training and Glasgow’s fertile underground scene. It’s where jazz improvisation meets the heavy pulse of club culture, hip-hop, and soul. Following his Mercury Prize-nominated debut Bad With Names and the innovative 30/108 project, Shortall continues to push boundaries with new releases like ‘THIEF’ and the Mick Jenkins collaboration, ‘WHODIS’.
