Multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Darrell Scott is a towering figure in American roots music. Known for cultivating the everyday moment into something profound and honest, his words allow us to make sense of the world, reminding us that love is all that truly matters.

Hailing from a deep musical lineage, Scott’s artistry blends poetic literature with rugged Americana. His credits speak volumes: touring with rock legends like Robert Plant and Zac Brown Band, and producing albums for icons including Guy Clark.

A recipient of ASCAP and NSAI’s ‘Songwriter of the Year’ awards, Scott brings his vast experience and deeply reflective voice to Celtic Connections. This is a rare chance to witness a master craftsman whose songs resonate with undeniable truth.

Support will come from three-time Americana UK Award winner Hannah White, who has recently released her new album 'Fine Day', and has previously supported Jools Holland, Paul Carrack, and Ricky Ross.
