Having headlined the first ever Celtic Connections in 1994, Deaf Shepherd return to the festival to celebrate their 25th anniversary with a special evening featuring guest appearances by all of the band’s original members. The enduringly popular Scottish group bring their vibrant sounds from the Lowlands, the Highlands, the Hebrides and Glasgow with fiery jigs and reels to the haunting eloquence of slow airs and ballads.

Opening the evening will be Norwich based folk trio Alden Patterson & Dashwood. Singled out by Songlines magazine as being of “enormous promise”, their music takes influence from folk traditions from both sides of the Atlantic.
