British rock band Elliot Minor first burst onto the scene with debut single Parallel Worlds, leading to their Top 10 self-titled album in 2008. Fusing classical influences with a unique blend of orchestral rock, alternative and pop-punk, their music became a defining sound of the late-2000s alternative scene.
After hundreds of shows globally, including appearances at Reading & Leeds, Download, Wireless and Tokyo’s Summer Sonic, plus tours alongside Simple Plan and Fall Out Boy, the band went on hiatus in 2011.
After more than a decade away, Elliot Minor made an unexpected return in 2025, with their five-date Once In A Decade comeback met by overwhelming demand, selling out shows across the UK alongside the release of their first new music in over a decade. With no further dates or festivals initially planned, an invitation from Download Festival saw the band return to Donington, performing second from headline on the Avalanche Stage.
Now, 20 years on from their 2007 breakthrough, Elliot Minor return in 2027 for their biggest headline tour since reforming, joined by special guests Madina Lake and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - bringing together three bands from a defining era of alternative rock for a celebration two decades in the making.
Elliot Minor are Alex Davies, Ed Minton, Dan Hetherton, Ed Hetherton and Ali Paul.

Restoration fund
From 1 September 2024, for any new events going on sale at our Concert Halls venues (Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, City Halls and Old Fruitmarket and Kelvingrove Bandstand), a new Restoration Fund of £1.50 per ticket may be added at checkout. View the full Restoration Fund T&Cs.

There are accessible toilets located to the right of the entrance to the auditorium on the ground floor and on the balcony adjacent to the Candleriggs Bar.

Free wifi
There is free public Wifi access. To connect, visitors have to register with the Old Fruitmarket Public Wifi which should pop up on their browser. After that visitors will only need their password for future uses.
