Face The West bring their explosive blend of tradition and innovation to the stage, fusing Hebridean roots with the energy of a festival dancefloor. Audiences can expect soaring fiddle and accordion melodies driven by pounding beats, bold guitars and electrifying synth lines, creating a sound that is both unmistakably Scottish and thrillingly contemporary.
Born from the rich musical culture of the Outer Hebrides, the band draw deeply from traditional repertoire while pushing boldly into new sonic territory. Their live performances balance the communal spirit of a ceilidh with the momentum of an electronic music set, shifting effortlessly between powerful instrumental passages and infectious grooves. Whether you're a lifelong trad enthusiast or simply drawn to high-energy live music, Face The West create an atmosphere that invites everyone into the celebration.
Showcasing music from their new album Teine, this Celtic Connections appearance promises a vibrant winter gathering where ancient tunes, modern textures and dancefloor energy come together in style.
