Australia's
climate is diverse and ranges from monsoon tropics, desert, savannah, alpine
and temperate. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have lived in harmony with their land for thousands of years by passing knowledge of language, culture, law, community stories and creation beliefs from generation to generation. This closeness includes an understanding of seasonal weather patterns, marked by changes seen in the night sky, new plant growth and animal behaviour. This tour will explore the special relationship between Australia's original inhabitants and their country through their stories and their art. |
