Join Fèis Rois for a special celebration of 40 years of music, Gaelic culture, community and creativity.

Under the musical direction of former Fèis Rois participant Innes White, almost 100 musicians and singers from across the generations will come together for this anniversary concert. At its heart is a 40-piece house band featuring some of Scotland’s finest traditional musicians, all former Fèis Rois participants who have gone on to build careers in the music industry, including Rachel Walker, Graham Mackenzie, Lauren MacColl, Corrina Dawn, Rory Matheson, Mischa Macpherson, Rachel Hair, Conal McDonagh, Mairearad Green and many more.

Alongside the house band, the concert will feature special guests whose musical journeys began through Fèis Rois programmes, as well as performances from the Ceilidh Trail, Kiltearn Fiddlers and Cluich Rois.

From its first event in 1986, attended by just 50 people, Fèis Rois has grown into a nationally recognised leader in traditional music and Gaelic arts education, working with more than 5,000 children, young people and adult learners every year.

This concert will bring together four decades of musicians who have been part of Fèis Rois, celebrating the people, music and connections that have shaped the organisation since 1986.
