As part of our ongoing
commitment to engaging with our customers to develop relevant local
collections that meet customer needs, Glasgow Libraries have a consultation
forum named ‘Have your say’. These informal sessions allow Librarians and frontline staff to talk to our customers about the books and services which are available in their libraries. These sessions take place across the city in a rolling programme that aims to include all libraries on a rotational basis. Although we have a number of tools that we use to assess uptake of services and relevance of stock to the local community, these sessions allow us to engage directly with our customers and form part of our wider community engagement and self-evaluation approach. Customers value these sessions as an opportunity to have their say and also use these to tell us how much they value the library service. |

Accessible toilets
This accessible toilet is approximately 14m (15yd 11in) from the main entrance, on the right hand side.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome. We can provide a bowl of water for an assistance dog.

Gorbals Library is home to an Employability Hub. The Hub, which operates every Wednesday, has lots of support and activities to help you find a job, create your CV or even launch your own business.
