Award Winning author and Podcaster Tariq Ashkanani will deliver a workshop on how to plan your Podcast.


Tariq’s third novel The Midnight King won the McIlvanney Prize for best Scottish crime book of the year at Bloody Scotland. His latest novel The Hollow Boys is described by James Oswald as ‘brilliantly unsettling and masterfully drawn’. 


Tariq also created and co-hosts the Page One Podcast, where he interviews writers of all kinds and dives into their journey to publication. Come along and hear Tariq’s advice and tips on how to develop your own podcast.

This venue does not have its own car park.

On occasion, Glasgow Life will be on the premises to film and take photos.

Study spaces

Study spaces are available throughout the library, however there is no booking system in place.

Free wifi

Free WiFi is available and patrons can connect through Glasgow Libraries free network.

Location Map

Dennistoun Library is home to three works by Glasgow-based artist Andrew Hay. Paintings Gallowgate Neon and Gallowgate Noir hang alongside a print of Hay’s cinema poster painting This Gun for Hire for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Glasgow Life offers Adult Learning programmes, activities and support services in a number of libraries across the city.
