Come along to hear all about the local history of Knightswood, told by Dr. Irene O’Brien (Senior Archivist in the Glasgow City Archives). 

Dr. O’Brien will be giving a dynamic talk about the early history of the area, the development that Knightswood has been through and detailing famous residents among other fascinating facts. There will be a little Q&A at the end. 

This talk is absolutely free to attend and no ticket required – please just come along and enjoy.

This accessible toilet is approximately 5m (5yd 1ft) from the main entrance. This accessible toilet is located ahead as you enter, in the foyer before the second sets of doors.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome. We can provide a bowl of water for an assistance dog.

Wheelchair access

There is a ramp leading to automatic double doors.

Baby changing

Baby changing is located in the accessible toilet in the library foyer.

Baby feeding

Baby feeding is welcome in all Glasgow Life venues.

Parking

Parking is free for all users. The car park is at the front of the venue.

Photography and video recording

On occasion, Glasgow Life will be on the premises to film and take photos.

Study spaces

We offer three large study tables - ask staff for assistance.

Free wifi

Wi-Fi is free by logging on via Glasgow Libraries - no password required.
