LEAP Sports Scotland: Pride House Scotland -Community Sports Climate Lab Part 2

Pride House is a temporary pop-up space which will exist during the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The Community Sport Climate Lab will be two-half days of workshops exploring the relationship between climate action, LGBTIQ+ activism and sustainable community sport. The initiative will be led by LEAP Sports as part of their Pride House Glasgow programme, running during the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026. 

The Lab will bring together community leaders, volunteers, activists, sports organisations and climate practitioners to share good practice, reflect on current progress, and identify practical steps that can be taken by community groups to become more sustainable. Climate practitioners and organisations will deliver training modules to build knowledge and support action planning. 

At the end of the lab, participants will collaboratively develop practical Climate Action Prototypes to be implemented in a community group setting with 2 –3 ideas being selected for seed funding.
