Now approaching the tenth anniversary of their self-titled first album, Mairearad Green and Anna Massie released their fourth, Farran, in 2018, capturing both the exceptional creative rapport and exhilarating vivacity of their celebrated live performances. Brilliantly sophisticated yet playful arrangements of old, new and original tunes, on accordion, bagpipes, fiddle, banjo and guitar, combine with occasional mellifluous songs. “A masterclass of musical telepathy and instrumental virtuosity” (Living Tradition)

The debut album from Tiree fiddler Jamie MacDonald and Austrian piper Christian Gamauf, 2018’s The Pipe Slang, vibrantly reflects their primary Hebridean allegiance while embracing wider influences, including Cape Breton and Asturian tunes. Joining the duo on the night will be guitarist Jack MacRobbie and a special appearance from step dancer Sophie Stephenson, both of whom appear on the album.“Youthful playing with an old soul” (Living Tradition)
