MAL & Special Guests

Tradition meets the dancefloor in this exhilarating performance from one of Scotland’s most exciting emerging acts.

Led by harpist and producer Malachy Arnold, MAL reimagines the role of the harp, placing it at the heart of driving electronic music inspired by techno, house and jungle. Joined by Finn MacPherson on pipes and whistle, Macaulay Ross on fiddle, and Gillie O’Flaherty on synths and keys, the band fuses traditional Scottish and Irish melodies with euphoric beats, bass-heavy grooves and contemporary club sounds.

Drawing inspiration from innovators including Martyn Bennett and today’s underground electronic scene, MAL delivers a bold, high-energy live experience that is both dancefloor-ready and deeply rooted in tradition.
