Market Market is a lunchtime performance event that collides the bustling social dynamics of a market with the intimacy of the food we eat when times are hard. Five people connected to Merchant City become alternative market traders as they share one dish that has soothed during times of uncertainty, survival or personal triumph.

Offered as a five course experience to a dining audience, in Market Market comfort food is the currency as memories, opinions and questions of belonging are negotiated in real time. How do we live alongside each other during so much upheaval? How can our public spaces become tactile again? And how can one dish open up the whole world of your life?

Come hungry to the old halls of The Briggait as the people we share our streets with reveal the many ways this city is imagined, contested and called home.
