"Never Broken in a Sea" - A debut, original suite written for the Grimsay Boats, Fionnlagh Mac A' Phiocair's emotive, euphonic style takes his native Hebridean culture to the stage.

Fionnlagh is a leading pioneer of the Scottish Smallpipe, which he uses to create expanisve, stirring soundscapes, rooted with Gàidhlig song, that washes euphonically over audiences.

The Grimsay boats are unique, handcrafted vessels, having been made specifically for navigating the shifting sands & tides which surround the Outer Hebrides. These original pieces are inspired by the vessels, people and landscape which give these boats their rich legacy.

Expect an intimate, immersive atmosphere, with thoughtful textures, supported with exceptional musicianship, featuring Pàdruig Morrison, Charlie Grey, Claire Frances MacNeil, and more special guests.
