Beethoven Revolution: Symphony No7

Jörg Widmann Con brio
Bruch Violin Concerto No1
Beethoven Symphony No7

Elin Chan Conductor
Nora Wildschut Violin
Royal Scottish National Orchestra

‘There are and have been many princes. But there is only one Beethoven.’ Ludwig van Beethoven was a visionary, a hero, an iconoclast and a superstar. But above all, he was a revolutionary – and when you hear his Seventh Symphony in full, headlong flight, you might feel like punching the air. Elim Chan kickstarts our ‘Beethoven Revolution’ series, while the astonishing young Dutch violinist Noa Wildschut takes the spotlight in Bruch’s lyrical Violin Concerto.

Subscriptions on sale from Wednesday 20 March 2019. RSNO Circle members can priority book single tickets from Wednesday 1 May 2019. Tickets on general sale from Wednesday 8 May 2019.
