‘I really want to show that Chopin’s music is very close to my heart,’ says the award-winning Polish pianist Rafał Blechacz, but that’s not the only reason why the New York Times called him ‘one of the major artists of his generation’. Blechacz brings a special magic to everything he touches and this solo recital features the poetry and passion of his beloved Chopin. But first, Beethoven: piano music doesn’t get any more romantic than the famous Moonlight Sonata.

Subscriptions - Restoration Fund Information
For customers buying a seasonal subscription, classical concerts in the 2026:27 Season will carry a restoration fund of 75 pence per ticket.
For any additional concerts during 2026:27, whether bought in a separate transaction or along with a season subscription, the standard £1.50 restoration fund per ticket will apply.
Booking Information
A transaction fee of £1.50 is charged for online bookings and £1.75 for phone bookings for single tickets. Fees correct at time of publishing.

Restoration fund
From 1 September 2024, for any new events going on sale at our Concert Halls venues (Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, City Halls and Old Fruitmarket and Kelvingrove Bandstand), a new Restoration Fund of £1.50 per ticket may be added at checkout. View the full Restoration Fund T&Cs.
