But if Brahms’ First Sextet is true musical sunshine, Schoenberg’s ‘Transfigured Night’ is deep, velvety darkness. A tale of forbidden love poured out in some of the most sensuous music ever written, this is half an hour of decadence at its most delirious. Pure joy meets ultimate passion in one incredible afternoon of music.

Subscriptions - Restoration Fund Information
For customers buying a seasonal subscription, classical concerts in the 2026:27 Season will carry a restoration fund of 75 pence per ticket.
For any additional concerts during 2026:27, whether bought in a separate transaction or along with a season subscription, the standard £1.50 restoration fund per ticket will apply.
Booking Information
A transaction fee of £1.50 is charged for online bookings and £1.75 for phone bookings for single tickets. Fees correct at time of publishing.

Restoration fund
From 1 September 2024, for any new events going on sale at our Concert Halls venues (Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, City Halls and Old Fruitmarket and Kelvingrove Bandstand), a new Restoration Fund of £1.50 per ticket may be added at checkout. View the full Restoration Fund T&Cs.
