Dates and times

Sunday 29 March 2020
1:15PM - 2:15PM
Unfortunately due to the constantly evolving coronavirus situation, Aye Write 2020 has been cancelled, and this event will no longer go ahead. We will contact ticket holders directly as soon as possible.

At the age of 24, Sarah Jane Douglas lost her mother to breast cancer. Alone and adrift in the world, she almost gave up hope - but by walking in the mountains, in her mother's footsteps, she learned to accept her own troubled past and to carry on in the face of her own diagnosis twenty years later. Seven years after her mother's death, Leonie Charlton is still gripped by memories of their fraught relationship. Trekking in the Outer Hebrides with a friend and their Highland Ponies, she begins to realise that finding peace with her mother is less important than letting go.
