Seckou Keita is a renowned Kora virtuoso who stands as a luminary amongst African traditional musicians. Hailing from Southern Senegal, his journey from a gifted child to a globally recognised musician has been nothing short of remarkable. Seckou's innovative approach and exceptional skill constantly pushes the boundaries of what the instrument can achieve. With a discography boasting 14 critically-acclaimed albums cumulating over 25 million streams on Spotify alone, and a collection of prestigious awards, including multiple BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, he always leaves an indelible mark on the music scene.
2026 marks Seckou Keita's 30th year making music professionally. This exciting year will showcase Seckou’s immense talent and repertoire, with exclusive shows, guests and new works. After the success of African Rhapsodies, Seckou Keita returned to his roots with his latest album Homeland, released in October 2024 by Hudson Records. In this opus, Seckou explores identity, sense of belonging, and questions the very idea of home, influenced by his own relationship with both his adoptive UK homeland and his native country Senegal.
Siraba brings together Malian donso musician Boubacar Samake
and French electronic producer Damien Vandesande (dOP) in a powerful fusion of
ancestral tradition and analogue electronics. Rooted in the sacred hunter music
of southern Mali and shaped by deep, pulsing rhythms, Siraba’s sound is
hypnotic, spiritual and future-facing. Formed twenty years after Damien first
recorded with Boubacar’s father, donso master Sibiri Samake, the project
embodies brotherhood and shared heritage. On stage, donso chants, ngoni and
live electronics create an immersive experience—part ritual, part
dancefloor—where tradition and technology meet in rhythm, strength and joy.
