Immerse yourself in Scotland’s rich Gaelic heritage with an exceptional afternoon of Gaelic music. The irreplaceable Ruairidh Gray will guide audiences through an unforgettable line-up, joined by two Glasgow community choirs including the LGBTQIA+ choir Còisir Cuèir and the much-loved Mòd Glaschu choir.
From the island of South Uist, we are delighted to welcome Kathleen MacInnes, one of the most distinctive vocalists in Gaelic Scotland, while North Uist’s exciting new talent, Fionnlagh Mac A’ Phiocar, will bring contrasting textures and hypnotic smallpipe performances guaranteed to get your feet tapping.
Completing the line-up are the award-winning Sian - a three-woman folk band whose close vocal harmonies and contemporary approach to Gaelic song have earned widespread acclaim for their album araon - and, the-icing-on-the-cake, the ever-versatile and captivating Josie Duncan, originally from Lewis and now based in Glasgow.
