The Lost Lights of St Kilda by Elisabeth Gifford is a sweeping love story that will cross oceans and decades. It is a moving and deeply vivid portrait of two lovers, a desolate island, and the extraordinary power of hope in the face of darkness. Sue Lawrence’s The Unreliable Death of Lady Grange is the incredible and gripping story of a woman who has until now been remembered mostly by her husband's unflattering account. It reconstructs a remarkable tale of how the real Lady Grange was exiled to St Kilda and how she coped with such a dramatic fate, with courage and grace.
