This highly anticipated collaboration brings together two of Scotland's most dynamic young traditional music acts.
Tarran, winners of the Hands up for Trad Battle of the Folk Bands, are an exhilarating contemporary folk group known for their lively fusion of Scottish and Irish roots with elements of funk, blues, and jazz. Their members—including multiple BBC Young Traditional Musician finalists—are lauded for creating an innovative twist on traditional music.
They are joined by Ellie Beaton, the commanding voice who recently won the prestigious BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2025. Hailing from Aberdeenshire, Ellie's authentic Scots singing, steeped in the Doric tradition, combines perfectly with Tarran’s contemporary energy for a truly captivating performance.
