The Johnny Quinn Macs is the powerful collaboration of three phenomenal musicians: John McSherry, Brendán Quinn, and Francis McIlduff. What started as an electric, improvised session at Belfast’s Féile Trad Trail in 2022 quickly evolved into a dedicated musical project. The immediate, intense rapport between the artists was so strong that they recorded their album, FÉILE LIVE, in just sixteen hours of live, single-take playing.
The trio delivers a confident, high-energy set featuring traditional tunes and Brendán’s contemporary songwriting, all driven by duelling uilleann pipes, soaring whistles, rock-steady grooves, and interweaving harmonies.
