Scottish punk/pop/glam legends The Rezillos’ all-but poetic Facebook bio pretty much says it all: “Ages ago we started up (1)/we made things (2) and fooled around/we developed strange obsessions/we diverged and coalesced/we had tantrums and broke up (3)/we got back together again and made up (4)/we make chaos melody harmony and racket.” (1. 1976. 2. Notably 1978’s debut LP Can’t Stand the Rezillos. 3. 1978. 4. 2001.) After 2015’s eventual second album came 2018’s glorious Flying Saucer Attack - Complete Recordings 1977-1979.
Uniting broad pop influences together with 1980s and 90s sounds, Manchester songstress Abbie Ozard crafts dreamily melodic, guitar-driven indie-pop.
