The Scottish Museum of Empire, Slavery, Colonialism and Migration: Glasgow Botanic Gardens - Colonial Histories Walking Tour

Take part in a guided walk through Glasgow Botanic Gardens. Explore how colonial networks, indigenous knowledge and migration shaped the gardens we see today. Through conversation and reflection, see plants as symbols of empire, movement and diversity in Glasgow’s history. The walk includes sloped paths and outdoor conditions. Afterwards, enjoy refreshments and a relaxed discussion.

Tour will run from 13:30 - 14:30 at Glasgow Botanic Garden followed by  roundtable discussion from 14:30 - 16:30 at Hillhead Library.
