Genre-blending Scottish string ensemble Thirteen North presents a night of collaboration exploring the theme of Connection. Incorporating Scottish and Irish traditional music, electronic, and Western classical music, the night features a special appearance by Glasgow-born award winning composer Craig Armstrong with his ‘Variations on Nocturnes for Two Pianos’.

Thirteen North also perform a brand new concerto for button accordion, piano and strings by Irish composer and performer Ryan Molloy, featuring the composer on piano and Seán Óg Graham (Beoga) on button accordion. 

Completing the set are three Scottish folk-inspired pieces by Pàdruig Morrison, Pippa Murphy and Catriona Price commissioned by Thirteen North in 2023.
