Joined by a bridle bit, the way a horse is to its rider, two dancers become one creature, roving around. Occasionally they pause to disagree, each wanting to move in a different direction. They struggle, fighting to take control, then find a way to communicate and collaborate.

Zosia Jo is a somatic dance artist, improviser and Artistic Director of Joon Dance. She is based in Wales but has worked throughout the UK and extensively in Egypt. Zosia studied at Northern School of Contemporary Dance, and Independent Dance / Trinity Laban. She has a passion for increasing access to dance for all.

Supported via Articulture by the Arts Council of Wales, Welsh Government and the National Lottery.

Scotland’s leading developer of street arts, Surge, presents a superb line up of weird and wonderful street theatre acts, unleashed on the public throughout the Merchant City Festival

SURGE runs projects to develop street arts, physical theatre and circus in Scotland. We work with artists, performance companies and educators at all levels of experience.

This year’s annual SURGE festival brings new Scottish work and cutting edge international performances to the streets of Glasgow, bringing them to life in ways never seen before.
