Bringing grit, skill and abandon to old-time Appalachian folk music, the Lonesome Ace Stringband have won praise from promoters and critics and earned approval from the most discerning of audiences at bluegrass proving ground MerleFest in 2018. Chris Coole (banjo), John Showman (fiddle) and Max Heineman (bass) all sing and compose, creating a perfect balance of old and new.

Linda Jean Stokley and Montana Hobbs, aka the Local Honeys, come from the foothills of the Appalachian region and are dedicated to preserving old time music and creating new songs that carry the tradition forward with character, energy and damn good stories.
