To celebrate the forthcoming release of their new album ‘An Ocean Full of Islands’ Tide Lines will play a huge show as part of Summer Nights on the Southside in Glasgow’s Queen’s Park.
The show will take place on Friday 23rd June in the celebrated Big Top arena which returns to Queen’s Park after the success of the inaugural shows last summer by Primal Scream. Tide Lines join a weekend of shows that already feature The Proclaimers sold out show the following night on Saturday 24th June.
The band’s front man Robert Robertson said: “We're so excited to be playing a show of this scale in Glasgow! It’s the largest capacity headline gig we’ve played and we’ll be adding some very special guests to the line-up. The site will be full of fantastic food vendors and bars to give the whole event a proper festival feel. It is undoubtedly going to be a massive highlight of our 2023!”
‘An Ocean Full of Islands’ is released on 3rd March and is the follow-up to the successful DIY release ‘Eye of the Storm’, which entered the UK Official album chart at #12 and the Scottish album chart at #1.
The full support line-up for the Big Top show will be released soon for what promises to be a fantastic day of music from the gates opening at 4pm.
