What stories live in the streets we walk every day?
Walking Our Stories is a series of community-led walking tours exploring Glasgow through the stories of migration and belonging shared by people who have made the city their home.
Each walk is shaped and led by Community Storytelling Leaders, who share personal stories connected to place. As you explore the neighbourhoods of Pollokshields and Govanhill, you'll hear reflections on migration, work, faith, family and belonging, offering a deeper understanding of the communities that have helped shape the city. This is not a traditional guided tour. Rather than focusing on landmarks or historical facts, it invites you to slow down, listen with curiosity and experience Glasgow through the voices of those whose stories are woven into its fabric.
Walks are free, but booking via Eventbrite is be required due to limits on participant numbers (no more than 15 people per walk). For more information about the event and to book visit:
