This FREE family event celebrates the history of Provand’s Lordship – the oldest house in Glasgow! Take part in a packed programme of activities including arts and crafts, storytelling, face painting and dressing up and immerse yourself in Glasgow’s rich past. You will also meet some of the weird and wonderful characters connected to the house over the course of its long history. Also take part in tours of the building as well as the nearby Glasgow Necropolis. Be prepared for few surprises during the day, including some of a winged variety!

Exhibits are not be audio described. There is no hearing assistance system.

First Bus services 19, 19A, 38, 57 and 57A all stop near the house.
On foot
The house is located in the city centre, a short walk from Buchanan Street and Argyle Street. It is opposite St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art and Glasgow Cathedral.
