Dates and times
Four performances, at 6pm, 6:45pm, 7:30pm and 8:15pm.
'Sink' is a major new artwork by artist Janice Kerbel, in the form of a synchronised swimming routine for women. Commissioned by The Common Guild, 'Sink' is a live performance of a uniquely choreographed routine. 'Sink' uses the language of synchronisation to explore the tensions between body and language, movement and stillness, the individual and the collective.
The performance will take place on Friday 3 August 2018 and is bookable in advance. Free for under 16s and the unemployed
Please be aware that the event will be viewed from the swimming pool balcony and poolside. Please wear appropriate footwear and dress for the warm and humid atmosphere. Please arrive at the event promptly.
As a historic building The Western Baths is not fully accessible, however step-free access to a designated poolside area can be offered for this event if requested at the point of booking.
