There's lots to do at the library!
Story-times, singing and play sparks your child's imagination and inspires their love of stories and books as they grow.
So if you don’t already come to your local library with your littles ones, or it's been a while since your last visit, now is the time!
We offer a rolling programme of special events to introduce you and your baby to the library, or welcome you back. We'd love to see you!
On alternate months we offer events for
- New-borns to 18 months old, come along to a story and song session.
- Children aged 19 months to 4 years old, enjoy a story, crafts, and play together.
It's also a great way to find out more about everything your local library has to offer and meet other parents/carers.

Baby's First Library Card
Your little ones can have their very own library card!
We offer the chance to sign up to a library card when registering your baby's birth but if you missed it, sign them up now.
It's one of the best gifts you can give your child and it's free.
