The Mitchell Library has study desks available on Levels 2, 3 & 4, with free Wi-Fi throughout. Most desks are for one person, but there are two group study desks located on Level 3.
The study desks operate on a first come, first served basis.
Study carrels
A great space if you want to retreat into your own little world to study, work or write your next great novel.
Situated on Level 4. Our carrels are suitable for 1-2 people.
Book at reception near the café, located at the Granville Street entrance. Cash only at £2.50*-5 per day. Carrels used to pray are free of charge.
We operate a first come, first-served basis and advanced bookings cannot be made.
