The event will take place from Friday 18 July until Sunday 20 July 2025, daily operational hours for the food and market stalls are from 12.00noon – 5.00pm.
The family programming inside Merchant Square will begin at 11am on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 July.
The Social Hub stage programming will begin at 12.00noon and end around 9pm each day.
Most acts are free and un-ticketed except for Follow Me and Charlotte Bronte which require a ticket to be purchased to allow entry.
There are also two indoor ticketed events which have a ticket price, Hip Replacement in the Old Fruitmarket, and the St Teneu Poetry Competition.
There will be pop-up acts and performances within the streets of The Merchant City area across various days as well as family activities and music within Merchant Square and a music stage outside The Social Hub.
The ticketed acts Follow Me and Charlotte Bronte: Senseless Trash will take place in the Ramshorn Graveyard.
The festival also runs events in City Halls/Old Fruitmarket and The Social Hub, with a quite space in Impact Arts at the Boardwalk.
No tickets are required to enter the festival site on the Merchant City streets, the activity within Merchant Square or the music stage outside The Social Hub.
There will be a selection of food vendors and market stalls including craft and gifts and a farmers market at this year’s festival.

No. You need to purchase tickets for relevant acts and events in advance of attending an event. Etickets will be issued prior to the event.
Please ensure you have your eticket to show on your electronic device or in print on arrival to event.
No. Children under the age of 2 years at the time of the event are considered 'babes in arms'. They do not require a ticket and will not be allocated a seat.
Children over the aged 2 years or older at the time of the event require their own ticket and seat. Please note there is no space for prams or buggies next to seats, we advise you to leave these in your car or at home.
Unfortunately not. Tickets are available for each performance and are valid only for the session and are non-transferable.
We advise that you aim to make your arrival time as close to the event time stated on your ticket. Latecomers may not be accepted.
