Dudendance's latest work, Alien Aquatic, imagines what kind of creatures would emerge if plastic mutated into living beings. Audiences come across the Aliens as they emerge from giant pods that are blown up by the wind.

The performance is made for beaches, swimming pools lakes and rivers with most of the action submerged in water. At SURGE we will do a walkabout version for dry land. the Aliens. The soundscape, created by Fiona Soe Paing and Clea Wallis alludes to mass production of plastic and endangered and lost species.
