Learn how to ceilidh dance then take a burl up Brunswick Street in our mass-ceilidh. From 4:45pm - 5:30pm on Friday 18 July.

12noon - 1pm
A folk music workshop that give you the opportunity to demonstrate an appreciation for Scottish traiditional music. The session will be made up of learners and tutors sharing the joy of playing together.

2:30 - 3:30pm
Widely regarded as one of the finest performers on the UK music scene and the first solo act ever to be nominated for Live Act of the Year at the Scot’s Trad Music awards in 2018.
3:30 - 4:30pm
Formed by Jamie Campbell, winner of Glasgow Life's "Song for Glasgow" competition, the band's sound is an eclectic cocktail of feel-good lyrics and music.
4:45 - 5:30pm
5:45pm - 6:15pm
An emerging all-female band based in Glasgow, their Gaelic name meas "bold" and this perfectly captures their vibrant sound and approach to performance.
6:30 - 7pm
Renowned Gaelic and Scots singer and fiddler, the RCS graduate is known for captivating audiences. A BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2024 finalist, Evie solidified her place among the brightest talents in the industry.
7:15 - 8pm
One of the most respected voices of their genre, indie trad band Dlu showcase a trad fusion sound and are passionate about keeping their culture alive through music.

Look out for the Story Wagon! The touring sanctuary that offers creative writing, traditional storytelling and story sharing activities.

Around the site from 1:00pm - 6:00pm
Keep your eye out for giant puppets of a poet and fiddle player to celebrate Glasgow 850. Interact with them and get your photograph taken with these 'Big Makes'.
Activity at 2:15pm and 4:30pm
Watch as Scottish Ballet, the national dance company of Scotland, host pop-up performances around the event site.
Walkabout 3pm - 5pm
These pipers are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face, they love nothing more than wandering around and entertaining people! Taking pipes, drums and costumes and mixing them with a dash of clowning in an energetic performance.
