An exclusive audio tour with Sir Billy Connolly

Discover Glasgow’s favourite museum through the eyes of one of the city’s most loved sons.

I've known Kelvingrove since I was a wee boy. Let me tell you about my memories of the place.

This audio tour, exclusively available on the Bloomberg Connects app, invites visitors to explore Kelvingrove through the eyes of The Big Yin himself. Hear Billy tell stories about growing up in Glasgow, his life in music and comedy, and the people who have been important to him, including John Byrne.

It has been created in partnership between Glasgow Life Museums and Sir Billy Connolly and Pamela Stephenson.

You can take this tour anytime using the Bloomberg Connects app. For the best experience, visit Kelvingrove and listen as Sir Billy guides you through the galleries. He shares memories of visiting as a young boy, admiring the armour and even sliding across the tiled floors in his socks.

That frontage ...is tattooed on my brain and it stays with you forever. It’s a beautiful building... it had life in it.... I love it. And I love it still...
