Our Walking Football sessions improve people's lives.

Meet new people, have fun and get active

Walking Football is a low-impact way to improve both your physical and mental health. Have a go at this slower version of the beautiful game. And be sure to stay for the post-match tea, biscuits and banter.

Walking Football sessions across the city

  • Walking Football is open to all adults of mixed ability. Taking place each weekday at various venues, check availability at Glasgow Club.
  • Parkinson's Walking Football is run in partnership with Parkinson's UK and Celtic FC Fountation. Sessions support participants to manage physical symptoms. Book a free space at Glasgow Club.
  • Dementia Walking Football sessions are designed to help participants manage physical symptoms. After each session, our football memories programme provides participants with the chance to reminisce over refreshments. Book a free place by emailing football@glasgowlife.org.uk.
