Promoting sustainable physical activity and wellness habits

Move Well encourages long-term behaviour change building confidence in physical activity, promoting sustainable wellness habits, and fostering peer support networks.

Move Well is a one-stop shop for individuals unlikely to become active without support, providing advice, support, and connections to Glasgow Life and community activities.


What's involved

Programme information

8-week block of 90 minute sessions which include wellbeing information, supported physical activities and community connections.

Workshops

Informal Wellbeing workshops covering topics like managing your sleep, pacing, resilience and motivation offering a chance for positive discussions and learning in a group setting.

Mindfulness

Practical mindfulness techniques around breathing and relaxation to help deal with life’s stresses.

Free physical activity

Free access to physical activities, including gyms, and classes, to help you Move Well or try something new.

Current Move Well activity classes

Our weekly Move Well Activity classes offer a safe and supportive environment for people looking to start or get back into being more active, including those who may be less mobile or living with a medical condition.

Our weekly sessions are as follows:

Pollok (South):
