Inclusive activities
We want our sport programmes and activities to be representative of the diverse communities which we serve. We strive to remove barriers to using our services and working with us through a range of programmes.
Free family swimming
Free Family Swim sessions are fun for the full family. Sessions are delivered where possible in the school holidays.
How does it work?
- Up to five people can swim free together* (e.g. up to 1 adult and 4 kids OR 2 adults and 3 kids). * Subject to our swimming supervision ratios.
- Adults attending without children are required to pay the normal swim price
- Children over 8 and under 18 years can swim unaccompanied
The Glasgow Club Access Card Initiative is designed to support organisations who are working with individuals who are often excluded from being active or are at risk of being inactive such as asylum seekers, women and girls, carers, people with a disability, people identifying as LGBTQI or those from minority ethnic communities.
We also support organisations working with people who face inequality of access due to complex issues such as addiction, poverty, homelessness, ex-offending or caring responsibilities.
The initiative provides 6 weeks of free access for organisations to bring their participants to try the activities available at their local Glasgow Club venue and assess if activities could become a beneficial addition to the organisation’s services.
On completion of the initiative, organisations may choose to fund further access for their participants or individuals may choose to fund access themselves, which is offered at a concessionary rate for a further 12 months.
Activity Mornings
Join others at Tollcross Leisure Centre every Thursday for activities including Easy Exercise, Dance Fit, Aqua Fit, gym sessions, table tennis and badminton. This is included in ActivClub / FitClub membership or pay per session for £5 (£4 concession).
Glasgow Life Supports
