Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV)
Glasgow Life is offering staff the opportunity to volunteer and make a real difference in their communities during Covid-19. Where possible, staff are asked to volunteer their time in roles across priority areas including Public Health, Social Care and Education. Visit My Job Scotland for more information.
Our Employee Supported policy applies to all staff, both part-time and full-time, who are not available to utilise their skills via myjobscotland but would like to volunteer in their local community during normal working hours.
Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV) brings benefits to both Glasgow Life and its employees, including:
- Allowing staff to develop and improve their morale and motivation;
- Increasing our skills base;
- Supporting the wellbeing of staff members;
- enhancing public perception of Glasgow Life;
- Improving our links and networks within communities.
