Volunteering

Volunteering is at the heart of Glasgow Life. Every day, volunteers share their time, skills and energy to support our services, strengthen communities and make a positive difference across Glasgow.

From sport and leisure to museums, libraries and cultural events, volunteers play a vital role in what we do. Volunteering also creates opportunities to build confidence, develop skills, connect with others and feel part of the city.

Our new Volunteering Strategy sets out our ambition to create inclusive, accessible and high-quality opportunities, ensuring every volunteer feels supported, valued and recognised. This can be downloaded in the format that works best for you below.
