A Wellness Action Plan is now available
What’s new?
- A Wellness Action Plan is now available for you to use—whether you’re working on-site, from home, or in a hybrid way.
- It’s a personal tool to support your mental health and wellbeing at work. You don’t need to have a mental health problem to benefit from it.
- Completing a Wellness Action Plan is completely voluntary — you choose how much to share and who to share it with (e.g., your manager).
- It helps you reflect on:
o What keeps you well at work
o How poor mental health might affect you
o What support or adjustments could help
o What actions you can take if you’re feeling unwell
Why it matters
- We all have mental health, and it can change over time—just like our physical health.
- This plan is about taking control of your wellbeing and making it easier to ask for support when you need it.
- It can help reduce stress, improve focus, and build better communication with your manager and team.
- If you're facing challenges (inside or outside of work), the Wellness Action Plan gives you a space to think about what works for you.
- It can also support returning to work after time off or adjusting to new ways of working.
How to use it
- Set aside some quiet time to fill out your Wellness Action Plan.
- Think about what helps you stay well, and what might make things harder for you at work.
- You're encouraged to share it with your manager if you feel comfortable— it can help them understand how best to support you.
- You can update your plan whenever things change—your needs might shift over time.
- Keep it somewhere safe and accessible. It’s your document, your choice.
Remember:

Be honest with yourself—this is for you | Worry about ‘getting it right’ |
Ask for support if you need it | Think this is only for people in crisis |
