Join one of our Social Reminiscence and Memory Groups
Our volunteer led Memories Scotland group sessions at Glasgow Life Libraries are an opportunity to reminisce and share memories about the past. The group sessions offer a friendly and safe space for people to come together, connect with others, make new friends, learn and share information about the place they live, stimulate mental activity, increase their confidence and self-esteem, and enjoy conversations with other participants.
Our volunteers will be there to support the group with facilitated social reminiscence. They will provide hot drinks, a listening ear, and a keen interest in storytelling and community heritage.
